Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 July 2026
Plain-language summary of how we handle your data, written to reflect Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). It is provided for transparency and is not legal advice; we recommend having it reviewed by a qualified adviser before relying on it commercially.
1. Who we are
HomeRadar (“HomeRadar”, “we”, “us”) operates the property-intelligence service at homeradar.sg. This policy covers personal data we collect through the site and its features. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights below, contact us at privacy@homeradar.sg.
2. What we collect
- Account data - when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We do not receive or store your Google password.
- Usage data - the questions you ask the AI, saved searches, and pages you view, so we can provide and improve the service.
- Technical data - IP address, device/browser information, and session cookies needed to keep you signed in and secure the service.
- Analytics & diagnostics - aggregated usage events and error/performance data, collected to understand and improve the product (see processors below). We scrub personal identifiers from error reports where practicable.
3. How we use your data
To authenticate you and keep your session secure; to provide the service (answer queries, save searches, send any digests you opt into); to analyse and improve the product; to monitor security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We rely on your consent (given at sign-in) and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service.
4. The AI chat
When you use the AI features, your question and the relevant public property data are sent to a third-party AI provider to generate a response. Conversations may be logged for quality, debugging, and abuse-prevention. Please do not include personal or confidential information in your questions.
5. Who we share data with (processors)
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf, under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms:
- Sign-in / authentication - to let you log in with Google.
- Cloud hosting & database - to run the service and store your data.
- AI providers - to generate responses in the AI chat.
- Analytics & error monitoring - to understand usage and fix problems (personal identifiers scrubbed where practicable).
- Payment processing - if and when paid plans are introduced (handled by a specialist provider; we never see or store your full card details).
6. International transfers
Some providers process data outside Singapore (e.g. servers in other regions). Where this happens, we take reasonable steps so your data is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the service, and analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser; disabling essential cookies may break sign-in.
8. Retention
We keep account and usage data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may ask us to delete your account data (subject to any legal retention requirements).
9. Your rights (PDPA)
You may request access to, or correction of, the personal data we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of it (which may mean we can no longer provide certain features). To make a request, email privacy@homeradar.sg. We will respond within a reasonable time.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data (encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring). No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
